  What was the funniest counsel/encouragement you rec'd from an elder ???

  kind of similiar to minimus question, this one got me thinking.. the funniest for me has to be the elders telling me i should buy a 4-door car for field service and not to buy a camaro.

  i almost believed them.

  telling me in would not be proper to drive that in field service.

  i'm amazed the watchtower hasn't started one of these, a guaranteed way to sucker in the youth of the borg.. with oral roberts university as successful as it is, how long to the jw's start one ??????.

  If women can be of the annoited, why can't they lead the congregation ???

  doesn't this contradict itself .............. if a women can be of the "annoited" class, but a man who is 20 fresh out of puberty, still has more say at the kingdom hall then she does.

  (closing prayer, giving talks, etc.

  so, when she goes to heaven after death, what will she be doing, serving coffee and doing the disciples laundry ?????????

  i read the mormon one on masturbation at "the only collection of jehovah's witness jokes on line" f--k, i laughed for a week.

  october 2014, should be an interesting watchtower !!!.

  wonder what the articles will be ????????.

  celebrating 100 years of oops.. we never said 1914, only religions of the world did.. why 1914 is not important.. why the watchtower never makes predictions like other religions.. .

  Who does the President answer to if he is not of the annoited class ???

  with don adams (maxwell smart) now in control of the presidentcy, and not being of the annoited class, who does he answer to ????????.

  he has no channel with jehovah/jesus like the annoited class.. what allows him to make any decisions ????.

  just think of all the crap the watchtower will be shovelling, when the 1914 generation passes completely on and there is none of the annoited class left, it has already started the last few years but i'm sure the best is yet to come !!!!!!

  Stock Market / Is it gambling ??? A Question Jo-ho's are defensive on.

  i always remembered when they would talk about how it is wrong to buy lottery tickets, or home lotteries or shriner's tickets, because this was considered gambling.. but when it comes to the stock market, well that is a different story, they (the jo-ho's) say it is investing not gambling.. do you think it was right for a jw to invest in enron, worldcom.

  qwest, bre-x (canada) etc.. they will say well we did not know it was a fraud, well are you not suppose to investigate before you invest, by buying into these companies are you not supporting their beliefs and ways.. and why would you invest in your future when armageddon is going to be anyday now.. jesus said "do not asssociate with workers of lawlessness.

  " what would you call the stock market.. how much does the watchtower invest with their billions ???

  Governing Body / who gets in, need answers to be sure ??????

  okay, i want all the help i can get on this one, so fire away with your answers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  anything that i say that is wrong, please point it out to me.. the governing body started roughly in 1971, with seven members, and then over the years increased it to 11 members,.

  so how many people have served on the governing body from the beginning to now ????

  i left the borg after a 5 year struggle at home.

  the best way for me to leave was to move across the country from east to west, (still wasn't far enough), i was unemployed at the time and had no real opportunities, so my girlfriend at the time (not a jo-ho)(who my family never met) and i headed out west.

  now, i returned home about 3 years later when my dad past away, and at the funeral, people were coming up to me asking me how the west was and how was my new congregation, can you believe this.
